Plains Art Museum
Services: Participation-Building Research and Plan, Training

The critically-acclaimed Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota is engaged in an exciting vision to introduce new family programming and interactive exhibits. Creation In Common developed an extensive visitor survey to help Museum staff understand the specific segments they serve and how they can encourage increased participation among non-member visitors as well as build a stronger relationship with young professionals with children. After analyzing the results, Creation In Common worked with the Museum’s leadership to develop its brand identity and strategies for building-participation with specific market segments. Finally, Creation In Common taught a series of trainings to managers on how to measure and improve the visitor experience, how to assess the Museum’s brand, and how to successfully communicate the Museum’s brand identity to visitors.
