Story Shaping: Building an Effective Donor Appeal

Motivating a prospective donor to give to your cause takes a great expression of your story that paints a compelling and passionate picture of the rich value your organization creates. The goal is to transform what you deliver operationally everyday into life-changing potential that captures the donor's imagination.

Creation In Common's Story Shaping is a proven method that builds your capability to transform your stories into effective donor appeals.

A Creation In Common Coach will come to your organization for a four-hour session and work directly with up to three individuals to…

  • Train you in on the Five-Point Story Model
  • Work with you to shape two-compelling stories
  • Construct and refine a donor appeal letter and donor prospect meeting script

At the end of the half-day, participants will have the knowledge and the tools to continue shaping future stories and applying them directly to your fundraising effort.

Creation In Common Coaching is affordably priced and designed to work with a wide variety of nonprofits.
